smartNsales โ€“ Cancellation Policy

1. Grace Period โ€“ Immediate Cancellations

If you cancel within 24 hours of confirming your booking and your scheduled space usage is set to begin more than 48 hours from the time of cancellation, you are entitled to a 100% refund (including smartNsales fees, if paid through the platform).

2. Cancellation Policy Types

Each space listed on smartNsales may select one of the following cancellation policy types. The applicable policy is clearly shown on the listing page and in your booking confirmation.

Very Flexible

100% refund if cancelled more than 24 hours before the start of space usage.

No refund if cancelled within 24 hours of the start time.

Flexible

100% refund if cancelled more than 7 days before the start.

50% refund if cancelled between 24 hours and 7 days before the start.

No refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before the start.

Standard 30-Day

100% refund if cancelled more than 30 days before the start.

50% refund if cancelled between 7 and 30 days before the start.

No refund if cancelled less than 7 days before the start.

Standard 60-Day

100% refund if cancelled more than 60 days before the start.

50% refund if cancelled between 30 and 60 days before the start.

No refund if cancelled less than 30 days before the start.

3. Payments & Refund Processing

Bookings Paid via smartNsales

Refunds include both rental amounts and platform fees.

Refunds are processed automatically via our payment provider and will be issued within 14 days of the cancellation.

External or Invoice-Based Payments

If you paid directly to the space provider, their own cancellation and refund terms apply.

smartNsales is not responsible for enforcing or mediating such cases.

4. Premature Termination During Usage

In the event of early termination of space usage after the booking has started:

  • The standard cancellation policy does not apply.
  • Any refund or penalty will depend on the space provider's individual contract terms.
  • We encourage parties to define specific terms in their agreement to avoid ambiguity.

5. How to Cancel a Booking

  1. Log into your smartNsales account.
  2. Go to "Bookings".
  3. Select the relevant booking.
  4. Click "Cancel Booking".
  5. Indicate your reason and optionally contact the space provider.
  6. Your refund (if any) will be calculated and displayed before finalizing.

6. Exceptional Circumstances & Force Majeure

If you face serious illness, natural disaster, or force majeure:

  • Please contact us at support@smartnsales.com.
  • smartNsales will assess each case at its reasonable discretion based on standardized hardship criteria.
  • While we cannot guarantee refunds, we aim to apply fair and compassionate resolutions wherever possible.

7. Negative Verifications and Cancellations

If a verification process (e.g. background check or compliance review) fails:

  • smartNsales may cancel the booking.
  • A full or partial refund may be issued unless terms were violated by the user.
  • In case of fraud or misconduct, penalties may still apply.

8. Data Privacy and GDPR/revDSG Compliance

When cancelling a booking:

  • Your cancellation reason, communication with the provider, and relevant personal data may be stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • This ensures legal compliance and operational support.
  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
